What are the documents required for import export code? - Partnerships, LLP, Private limited Company, Sole proprietorship, Individuals

The process of filing the import export code has been simplified to the great extent. Traditionally, IEC require as many as 8 set of documents which has been reduced to only 4.
Further, documents requirement for any form of business is same, i.e. only the following documents are required for Private Limited Company, Sole proprietorship, partnership or Limited liability partnership.
- Copy of PAN Card
- Passport size Photograph
- Cancelled Cheque
- Copy of Identity Proof (Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Passport, DL)
