Overview
Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) was incorporated in 1978 as an official body of apparel exporters in India that provides invaluable assistance to Indian exporters as well as importers/international buyers who choose India as their preferred sourcing destination for garments.
AEPC has now offices in more than 40 offices in just a span of 30 years. The parent organisation of IAM is “Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC)”. The Council, a nodal agency sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is entrusted with the task of undertaking all activities to promote Apparel Export from India including developing technically competent Human Resources to achieve the same with the export promotion of readymade garments from India.
