ITR due date for Companies extended till 7th November: Govt

The due date for ITR filing for companies has been extended till 7th November, 2017 from existing 31st October, 2017. The news though not confirmed by any official source, has been confirmed by the CNBC and the taxsutra. 

Reportedly the due date for filing of Income Tax Return (ITR)/ Tax Audit Report (TAR)  has been further extended from 31 Oct. 2017 to 7 Nov. 2017 for all corporate assessees/ cases under tax audit. However, there is no official notification of the CBDT on the same.

The Income tax department has now confirmed through their official twitter account. Hence, it is now confirmed that the due date has been extended.
